ITECH is an Engineering school created in 1988 through the merge of 2 Industrial schools more than 120 years old , which were the former French school of Tannery, and the famous Silk weaving school of Lyon providing a high valuable program which stands between material sciences and applied chemistry ( mainly polymer chemistry applications).
We recruit students who have a first degree in general chemistry
It's a three year program with 3 mandatory internships ( 6 weeks international experience at the end of the 1st year ) 8 weeks in the field of Spezialisation (at the end of the 2nd year) , possible one year sandwich placement ( between second and third year), and 6 month internship in a Company for the final Master of Engineering Research project .
The program comprise 1/3 of scientific classes such as chemistry/colloids, math, physics, 1/3 of specialty courses and 1/3 of courses around humanities, such as social responsibility, life cycle of products, Management , ethics etc . The program includes one mandatory semester abroad ( Barcelona, Zagreb, Lisbon or Chicoutimi in Canada).
