Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa (JDU) is one of the largest public universities in the region, located in a picturesque part of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The university structure includes six faculties: Humanities, Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Arts, Law and Economics, and Collegium Medicum. The university offers Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Polish and English, educates students in 60 fields of study, and offers 35 postgraduate programmes, as well as numerous courses and trainings. It offers education at the Doctoral School in 13 disciplines. Students and faculty members have access to modern infrastructure: multimedia lecture halls, a sports centre, language laboratories, specialized laboratories and a planetarium. Student accommodation is provided in a dormitory located on the JDU campus, offering single and double rooms. The strength of the University is evidenced by its academic staff, which numbers close to 790 people. This group includes nearly 540 academics. Among them, there are 64 people who hold the title of professor.The JDU is a member of the COLOURS European University Alliance, which brings together nine universities from different regions of Europe with approximately 126,000 students and over 12,000 academics.
