Schiller International University (SIU) is an American private higher education institution. Schiller International University is named in honor of Friedrich Schiller (1759-1805), the distinguished German poet, philosopher, historian, and playwright whose works have had a lasting impact on the world. Founded in 1964 by Walter Leibrecht.
For over 60 years, Schiller has welcomed students from all corners of the globe, creating a vibrant and dynamic environment that celebrates diversity and encourages unity in the face of difference. With four worldwide campuses located in Tampa (USA), Madrid (Spain), Paris (France) and Heidelberg (Germany), the university offers inter-campus mobility programs after year 1, which is one of the top reasons why many students want to study here. With over 130 nationalities represented in all four campuses, this is a great opportunity for students to socialize with people from many backgrounds and learn about different cultures and languages too. SIU is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The university offers 18 programs from BA, MA and MBA, from classroom lessons to distance learning.
