The Faculty of Pharmacy of Masaryk University is one of the two faculties implementing pharmaceutical education in the Czech Republic. The basic mission of the Faculty of Pharmacy is to provide university education, conduct research in the field of pharmacy and related fields and other activities fulfilling the mission of the Faculty of Pharmacy as an academic institution. The faculty cooperates with domestic and foreign research institutes, medical facilities and pharmaceutical industries.
After fall of communist regime, Faculty of Pharmacy was re-established in 1991 as part of the Veterinary University, now called the University of Veterinary Medicine. The Faculty of Pharmacy was restored at Masaryk University on 1st July 2020.
The Faculty of Pharmacy offers study in two Master's programs (taught in Czech and English language) and eight Doctoral programs which were accredited under Masaryk university. Research and development is carried out at six departments which work in close cooperation with the Faculties of Medicine and Natural Sciences Masaryk University.
